We heard yesterday that our Stage 1 application has been successful. This is great news of course, but the Stage 2 deadline is tomorrow! However, we are a bunch of optimists (A necessary prerequisite for this venture!) and we have the Stage 2 form almost ready to go. It will be a long two days, but everything will be submitted tomorrow.

We will be assigned a funding officer who will assess our bid and there will be discussions with him/her. We are looking forward to it: we have a great project, huge community support and a superb team.
This is the point where we say 'thank you' to Ailsa Murphy of the Community Assets Team at the Scottish Land Fund for her endless patience, assistance and knowledge that has so helped us to this point. Thank you Ailsa.
Fingers crossed!
